It installs what is missing

When your code imports a library that isn’t installed, Smart Bolt names it. One press installs it and runs the file again. It knows Python, Node and Ruby.

It gets the preview working

If your app listens on another port, Smart Bolt offers to switch it to 3000, the port the preview shows. If 3000 is busy, you pick: replace the old app or use a new port.

It explains the rest

Some errors need a change to your code, such as a dead link. Smart Bolt says what went wrong in plain words. It also checks web pages, for example a stylesheet the page never links. Fix for me hands the rest to AI.

How it works

  1. Open a project

    Paste a file or pick a starter on the home page.

  2. Press Run

    Smart Bolt starts the file or the app and watches the output.

  3. Pick a fix

    Press the button on its card. Not now closes it.

Questions and answers

Does Smart Bolt cost anything?

Its rules are free. Fix for me asks AI, which uses AI credits, and it only runs when you press it.

Does it change my files?

Most fixes wait for you to press a button. When you press Run on a web app, it may switch the app to port 3000. The terminal says when it does.

Can it run games?

Yes. Code that opens a window, such as a pygame game, runs in a live window in the preview. Smart Bolt moves it there when the terminal has no screen.

What if it can’t tell how to run my project?

Its card says so. Ask AI how to run this looks at your files and suggests a start command, using AI credits.
